People would have to know history to know why them performing in Paris was such a big deal. It was never lost on me either.

As a french person who loves Rammstein, speaking german here is still viewed as an abomination. Speaking English is practical, Spanish is cute, Italian is romantic but german will get you looked at like a monster. Schools don't even do german classes most of the time unless you live near the border. Which is sad, yes germany did a LOT of harm to many people and as a gay person of color I get it but also... it's not the language that hurt, it was the ideology. Germany as a lot of beautiful art to offer...

I've seen Rammstein live twice, and both times they were excellent.
The stageshow is out of this world, with sooo many special effects, that You can hardly imagine it.

My first time hearing this band and I enjoyed the power and energy of their music. I was surprised at how much our villagers enjoyed it. I guess you could say the mjusic has a primitive sound to it and I think it hits a cord with a lot of people. Good video that gives our folks such a wide spectrum of experiences.

Ad Infinitum - I Am The Storm. The singer is Melissa Bonney, one of the best female vocalists in metal, the band is Symphonic Power Metal, a bit different than Industrial Groove Metal which is the genre Rammstein is in. Metal has dozens of genres, Hardcore Thrash and Melodic Death are my personal preferences but I listen to all metal.
