It helps if you put the ball in a sock it’s easier to use it then where you need it . Great tips I do a lot of them and learned a few new ones. Thanks .

I'm sorry you are dealing with this too! I have tendonitis (aka knitter's elbow) and have been doing similar stretches as well as cold/heat therapy, self massage and most recently acupuncture. The acupuncture has been a game changer. Hope you are finding relief and thanks for sharing your experience.

Oh no, arghh our hobbies giving pain is the worst! My GP did suggest acupuncture but I hate needles and plus I've seen Final Destination so I guess I will be in pain for life 😂

I love my lacrosse ball for massage (I’m a dancer so i use it for that as well)…i have found if i have a pain in my forearm, putting the lacrosse ball on a towel and then rolling it up and down helps…i also have a theragun and shiatsu massager that i use on my neck and back cos office job + knitting + dancer = a lot of tension 😅

The lacrosse ball is the best thing ever. Oh that's quiet the combination for sore muscles! I will check out those items!

Hi Phoebe, what yarn were you using around 2:40?
Also, along with the smaller needles and being scrunched up, you're also having to make double sometimes triple the number of stitches that you would with larger needle sizes.
For example, I made a halter top with super bulky weight yarn using 10mm needles (US 15/UK 000) and casted on a total of 70 stitches (though I honestly could have done 60 and would have fit better). This is opposed to another top I'm working on using lightweight yarn and 4.5mm needles (US/UK 7), I had to cast on 280 stitches! Both of these were using 24" cables (61cm). Oh yeah and another top for my sister using DK weight yarn and 4.0 mm needles (US 6/UK 8) on 16" cables (40.6cm), I crammed 170 stitches thinking it would go faster and though it did, my hands are sore from the short and skinny needles.
All of the items mentioned above were made without a pattern, so definitely a learning experience, but I wanted to point this out in case it may benefit others.
Now I understand why people love chunky yarn and big needles! Unfortunately for me, though, it's just too hot where I live to use such heavy material!!
Thank you for the video, have a great day. :)

Hi, it's an unrelated question but what fluffy- rainbow-Unicorn-like yarn are you working with? It is really pretty! :D
