In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations) - Věda a technologie
The world needs more achitects like this man and less architect that want to be excentric artists. My college thesis was about this type of modular contructions, I develop a temporary shelter out of bambu, so the work of this man resonated a lot much with me and my views that architeture can be useful in pratical and concrete ways to society.
wish I could hit LIKE repeatedly ..... thank you Alok Shetty
Your story inspired me a lot!!! I’m currently a second-year architecture student in the US... I hope I can do something meaningful like what you have done after graduating ☺️
With the "black box" it would be so easy to set up schools and clinics anywhere in the world. This is just amazing. It would so helpful for after disaster help.
I agree - the applications are HUGE for the black box

>Anywhere
unless you think about much of the world being below 22 degrees at daytime, having wind and rainfall
this only works for warm climates
@@9n2f3 well not to mention the structural nightmare that it presents. Guess thats why when I searched for the completed project all I saw were scale models.
Bamboo could be a good Material is very strong but also very light and growth in the most region's of Asia
WoW. This touched my heart and spirit. Ive been designing low income housing complexes in my mind and on The Sims. He inspired me to go to architecture school, which is what I originally wanted to do a long time ago. This is one of my favorite Tedx. Thank you. 🙏
We need such real humans like this brilliant mind & soul in our world! Much love and respect to this man.
Really interesting ... inspires me to not give up on ideas and keep working on them or having my own practice
What an incredible start to ones career. Love how hes is using his skills to help others. Ideal life in my opinion, spend your life making other peoples lives better.
You are Inspirational to back home Karnataka!
Shipping containers are the BEST boxes to think inside really.
I don't think I've been disappointed yet with shipping container architecture whether it's a collapsible/modular structure in one or two containers designed to be mobile, or their use as pieces to build the skeleton of larger structures.
The story of an Intelligent kid to an Excellent Architect...!
Best ....architecture related vedio I ever saw 👍

The concept of the expanding womb. The house grows with the occupant and can shrink back, for another's to start.
i want the container project for case study where i got this for my academic project

for slums...what about land? and much of the hygiene related issues arise of house and toilet waste disposal.

sir if you put the floor 1 feet high would it not be a good place for mosquito to breed on the context of india?
aydid mohammad arab shah unless there is any stagnant water, mosquitos never breed. I think he has put a thought on this, before designing.
🇮🇳💚
Septic tanks should be mention. Around the world no sepic tanks standard. Best design for septic tanks should be like the blackwater (toilet) should be seperated from gray water( sink , Shower) and the liquified processsed from the black water tanks
should be drain to the gray water tanks. the processed liquid from gray water tanks to the drain fields.
Howwwww.???
now thats an ARCHITECTURE..
fu**ing coooool
the XX copyright violation
🤔he’s from my college lmao .
How he is 18 in his 3 year of architecture
He said i joined when he was 17
Dont get it
Mokôpo.5
Same with me. I just turned 17 when I got in architecture school. I skipped grade 11 and 12 because we didn't have it at that time unlike in other countries.
loved the projects :)
but stop bragging
lmao
Better to be at college. LoL
Why is he bragging about himself!! It would be great if he didn’t add lot of unwanted messages!
Yeah go on brag and make it look extraordinary than it actually is.
Dad ke paise se tedx ka slot khareeda hai. Nusta badbad
meh.
None of this is really innovative...these kinds of projects (and truly innovative projects) are presented and discussed in architecture schools every day. I had a professor that worked with students to design and build a low cost brick that filters air pollution, for example. This video is just 18 minutes of some dude bragging about his own accomplishments while trying to present his good but unremarkable ideas as if they are cutting edge...
xxxx
Yang pilih allah like.
Brilliant
