- Sergey Yuryevich Grankin (Russian: Сергей Юрьевич Гранкин; born 21 January 1985) is a Russian volleyball player, a former member of the Russian national team. 2012 Olympic Champion, two-time European Champion (2013, 2017), and a multiple World League medallist. At the professional club level, he plays for Fakel Novy Urengoy.

He is unique in that, firstly, he always tries to play the game in an interesting and diverse way, he does not like standard schemes like "Order a zone, give a pass in 2".This is not a level, as he said himself.First of all, he gets a buzz from the game, and does not play for the result.There is a stream coming out of him, it's worth a lot, he's not a machine, he's a creator! Secondly, he has an absolutely original and unique technique, which, besides helping to realize his idea, also looks very beautiful. Thirdly, he has been at the top of volleyball for 15 years. He would have won the 2021 Olympics if not for Sammelvuo. Absolutely great!
