The inside is like a light suede interior it to is stamped LV on the zippers and some of the brass inside. Real or not I love it and was proud to be gifted such a well kept vintage piece. It is also coded under the key ring

I converted mine to be crossbody by adding d ring without damaging the bag. And I can interchange the handle now.

Same I ran across a 2001 version and I wasn't so sure on that bottom seam. So this really helped.
My GM Looping is from year 2000 and I adore it. The shape and beautiful handle catches a few looks and compliments.
