The Japanese animation film on Ramayan is way better, the depiction of the character Ram in RRR, Ram Charan looked more like Shri Ram than Prabhas, I would for once even consider Alia to have played a better Sita Ma. If we consider that they made a movie inspired by Ramayan then I would say Hum saath saath hai is a better adaptation. Ramanand Sagar Ji's Ramayan is not comparable. Like Sholay it's unremarkable... No one can do justice to Valmiki Ramayan like Sagarji did.
About Ravan... Even in Ramayan .. Ravan is described as a highly educated, Maha Shiv bhakt Brahman. His only fault was his Ego (Ahankar) and abduction of Ma Sita. That is why Shri Ram wanted Lakshman to learn from Ravan at the end. And Shri Ram had to bear the curse of Brahma hatya .
Beauty of Ramayan as an epic are the relationship, the description of character, they reasoning behind each and every action
The director, producer, script writer, VFX screenplay writer.. everyone had a chance to make and elevate our epic and be remembered in history. Yes they would be remembered in history as the people who missed a chance to create an epic by miles.

As a Buddhist and a hard core lover of Ram and Ramayan, I have no objections with the movie. I just wondered why Meghnath was killed under water and laxman was looking so nervous.We all know best Ramayan is that of Arun Govil and Ramanand sagar but still I respect Adipurush because it brought back memories of Ramayan and tried to show in modern way. If you want to complain, you might complain about songs also saying Ram didn't sing song 🎵. And I have shown my babygirl on her 1st birthday this movie thinking this is of Lord Ram's movie but no doubt she will be shown Ramayan of Ramanand sagar as she grows up. Thank you. My respect for the 1992 animated version just went up 10 fold after watching This comedy
