The idea that some people are talking about this woman’s body or appearance- in a critical way - is beyond comprehension.
She is spectacular.
I think she has the best form with her routines and she appears to be a genuine personality. A shame she is not more recognized in the gymnastics world and the media market.
She once beat out Simone Biles on the Jr. Team for US team. She was to young for Rio but was no longer enjoying the sport enough to attend the next Olympic games.
@@melissatop6932 she beat simone in a *senior* meet, and she was too young for London, not rio. she quit elite because of injuries, not not enjoying the sport, it was her elite comeback she quit because of lost passion in 2014/15.

I think she is a perfect role model. Joy is exactly the word I use to describe her when she's executing her routines. I feel like she's made gymnastics exciting again. I love watching her because I smile the entire time I watch her

The perfect role model for young girls ever. I really think that Kaitlyn Odashi should seriously give thought to becoming an online mentor, not necessarily for gymnastics, but for positive body image to all school age children, worldwide. Sadly social media is full of images that are unreal and/or unhealthy.

Exactly why I got rid of social media. Been 3 years since I had it. I couldn't stand the constant bullying and "ideas of perfection" no one is perfect. And shes beautiful just the way she is ❤❤❤😘😘😍

when i first saw her video i was amazed at the energy and the power of her skill...she truly is beautiful and one of a kind...UCLA will have a very tough time being recognized without her on the team, her legacy will go on for a long time
When I look at her I see an amazing individual. Very powerful and beautiful woman. I had never watched any gymnastics. When I saw her video, I was glued to the screen. Her enthusiasm, beauty and athleticism is absolutely amazing

Gymnastics is such a stressful individual sport. Ms. Ohashi always seems to have such fun & all her teammates feed off of her enthusiasm. I honestly can say she is a joy to watch.

Talent, in any form, should be recognised and encouraged. It's a sad situation when people see imagined flaws. The human body comes in all shapes and sizes. Negative comments should be kept in the heads of the narrow sighted people that make them. Katelyn is probably the best gymnast the world has seen in the years since Olga, but unfortunately, those that mark on perfection are usually far from perfect themselves. Thank you Katelyn, you've brightened my day more than once. Much love and respect 💖

Body shaking has been around for yrs. I am 73 and was body shamed in elementary and middle school. I grew 8 1/2 " ..gains about 45 lbs in about 6 months. No one knew me next school year...

When my sister first showed me the video of her perfect 10 I just thought she looked like a bouncy ball, it looked so natural. She had so much energy and barely looked like she was ever touching the ground. She is an amazing gymnast. Keep doing what you love.
It just amazes me! That they (coaches & people) were more concerned on what her body looked like; then her amazing performances in the gymnastic world.

I’m so glad that Katelyn ended up at UCLA. Coach Val is who with Katelyn and got her back into the sport properly. She lights up the room and was a fantastic gymnast.

I used to be a gymnast and no first hand what she went through being a bloke doing this amazing sport a lot of kids in school thought it was just for girls what she has done and has said I hope this changes the minds of others that go through the same thing to be able to pull through anything if I hadn't broken both arms I'd still be doing it to this day keep going ya rock

I'll be turning 64 next week , I've been following Gymnastics since 1972 and Katelyn is the best that I have seen , dynamic , outstanding personality , great sportsmanship , has me sitting on the edge of my seat every meet. The world is in love with her and so they should be … she is awesome.
