I have watched this literally hundreds of times and in every single one I got the chills. It moves me in a way no other singing video has done. Good job Gilbert and let your spirit flow 🙌
Thank you so much for your kind words! I know many people feel the same way about Jotta's performance. It's crazy to think... after I filmed this, I vaulted it (stored it away). If you notice... the video I uploaded before it and after have my new bed and bedding in the background... but this reaction to Jotta had my old bed set up. The reason why was because I cried so hard I was slightly embarrassed. It was an "ugly" cry. It came from my soul. I felt in my prayer time that God was letting me know that it was that exact reaction that people want to see. People want to see the REAL, the genuine, and the authentic. Not to say that my other reactions are fake... they are very real and they come from the same genuine place in me, but I'm not a sobbing mess in them. I was humbled before God and so I decided to go into my saved files, and then I released this video a month or two after I filmed it. God was right! It is, BY FAR, my most watched and reacted to video! When the Spirit moves, it is a moment that is always meant to be shared. Thank you for your encouragement, friend! It means the world to me that you echoed what God has shared with me personally. I love you and God bless!

Sigo Jotta no Instagram e fico muito triste ao ver que ele deixou a Igreja. Ele não deixou Deus. Jotta deixou a Igreja. Isso é diferente. A única razão pela qual Jotta deixou a Igreja é porque eles o ridicularizaram por ser gay. Não é de admirar que ele tenha partido. Ninguém quer estar em um lugar onde não possa ser quem Deus os criou para ser. Ser gay não é uma escolha. Estar na Igreja é uma escolha. Se você forçar alguém a fazer uma escolha entre o que pode e o que não pode, ela sempre se afastará do que pode. Que Deus tenha misericórdia da Igreja que afastou Jotta. Há sangue em suas mãos.

I know some people were upset that he’s gay and stopped only doing Christian music but I can’t believe that anyone needs to repent for that.
B.b. Gun You are so right, my friend. Repentance is about turning away from sin (choices). Being gay is not a choice. It’s part of your identity. God makes people gay or lesbian. They don’t choose their orientations. No one does. Therefore, it’s impossible to repent for that. Like you, I am confused what they are talking about, but I can see how those misinformed points of views probably chased Jotta away from the Church. I don’t blame him. Why would ANYONE want to stay around a spiritually toxic atmosphere?
Michelle Hernandez I have known I was gay since I was two years old. It scared me only because I knew there were many people out there that wouldn’t accept me. Sexual confusion may have been your experience but it wasn’t mine. My orientation has always been VERY clear to me. What is unclear is why anyone would say it is a sin to love someone else. Being gay isn’t about sex. It’s about love. Sexual attraction is a part of orientation but it isn’t its totality.
I became a Christian in 2007 and I radically fell in love with Jesus. I have been serving God ever since. The Holy Spirit revealed to me that the teaching of being gay is a sin is man-made, it’s not God. People have misused and mistranslated the Bible in that area as a reflection of their own misunderstanding about same sex orientation. I have done my studies. I pray The Holy Spirit will lead you into a deeper truth on this issue. My life and Jotta’s bears the fruit that gay people are chosen and anointed for God’s but it is the Church (God’s own people) that suffocate their potential. Jotta is an example of this. How terrible that the very community that is supposed to love and accept him for the way God made him reject him out of ignorance. It’s a crying shame.
