Notice his condition got worse when the tables weren't going in his favour. When he entered he thought he had the upper hand. It just shows that his condition is all rooted from his personal feelings for Jimmy, as it all started after he passed the Bar exam.
It could be partially motivated by a grudge against Jimmy, but to me it seemed like his condition got worse in response to self doubt. When his capabilities as a lawyer or even as a person are put into question, he freaks out. He doesn’t start to notice the electricity in the room until everyone around him can’t see his line of reasoning; the cashier is lying to cover Jimmy and Ernesto doesn’t believe that Jimmy sabotaged him. It makes him question his own reality. This is made more painful by the fact that he was able to boil down the situation perfectly, but just couldn’t get anyone to believe him or the evidence necessary to prove it, because Jimmy actively sabotaged him to prevent him from doing so.

I think a lot of the actions Jimmy did are totally justified, and I totally understand why he isn't too worked up about his death.
Even though Jimmy's to blame for becoming a corrupt lawyer and defending scumbags Chuck's partly to blame for him becoming Saul. Chuck constantly stopped Jimmy from becoming a lawyer in honest, legal ways so Jimmy felt like he had to dip into his old Slippin Jimmy con tactics to get ahead. And all because Chuck couldn't handle that their parents preferred Jimmy to him. He apparently didn't know their dad was a naive idiot who'd fall for the fake sob stories of obvious con men because he was afraid they might be someone who'd actually need help.

I love how Chuck mentions he's an "officer of the court" like ANYONE without a legal background would know that doesn't necessarily mean police officer. He said it intentionally to mislead the copying clerk because Chuck knows actually pretending to be a cop is more illegal than what Jimmy did which is why he immediately backtracks once the clerk asks him if he's a cop.

You don't need a legal degree to know this guy isn't a police officer.
If you work with the public long enough, they will throw all kinds of legalese at you - you will quickly cut right through it. It isn't rocket science. When you are also on hook potentially for aiding a criminal, well, you wise up pretty fast too.
Dang. They cut out the part where Jimmy runs in, hits his head on the same counter and then an adjacent one repeatedly as Chuck joins in. Then Walter does the same and Lalo crashes through the ceiling, breaking his neck. So much emotions. That is the exact moment when Mike became King of the Rats.

Poor Ernie, guy is just doing his job and Chuck yells at him. Then Chuck later fires the guy in letting Jimmy get a heads up on what chucks planning.
Chuck never respected Ernie. And it was almost never warranted. Ernie was always just a guy doing his job with a good attitude. When he lied to Chuck it was because Chuck is an insane, vengeful nut who was going to hurt his friend who actually treated him like a human being.
Chuck always underestimated the effects of being a kind human being. He thought Jimmy was scamming everyone into liking him (he scammed a lot to be fair). At the same time though, Jimmy had ACTUAL friends who had his back and he had theirs. He was a good friend, and at least was a decent person (even if phony) to strangers. Chuck valued being a lawyer above everything and it made everyone hate him.
Even getting ernie fired was actually part of chuck's plan. Chuck knew Ernie would spill the beans (Chuck "accidentally" played the tape in front of ernie) and by firing Ernie it would help rouse an emotional response from Jimmy even more.

Sales guy won't give in because Jimmy was good at persuading him. Even the Sales guy learned from Jimmy about persuading by saying the removal of the footage is "expensive". He trusts Jimmy for that. When Chuck said that he is not a cop and Ernesto said that they should go, he knew he was already safe.
Also Chuck isn't good at persuading the Sales guy to spill. His methods are too direct. It won't work unless he does it like Slippin' Jimmy

I just noticed for the first time that Chuck calls Ernie “Ernie” instead of Ernesto in this scene. Was wondering about this the other day if he ever called him Ernie at any point in the show. Everyone else does, but Chuck doesn’t respect him enough to call him his preferred name. Only calls him Ernie when he’s pissed at him.
I think calling him his full "real" name is more a sign of respect and professionality in Chuck's case.

The funny thing is, as much as Chuck flips out on the lack of integrity of it, lawyers stretch stuff to how manipulative Saul is as well. Lawyers don't lie to courts and tamper with evidence, but they do advise their clients to do particular things so their actions look a particular way to the court and they disregard certain facts while emphasizing facts that support their case.
Thats what Chuck does too. He just wants to feel self righteous and hates that Jimmy has better skills than him. Morals are all he has.

It's commendable how Chuck pushed through the stress. On my first watch, I thought he would push through until he had to leave. Even though his problem with electricity is psychological/physiological it did kick his ass despite his effort to focus on getting the information he needed. Makes it feel like his self-diagnostic is legit. It would be cool if he was right. Thankfully no one has had that allergic condition in the real world, that would reeeeeeeally REALLY...Zeigler, Werner ZEIGLER, really suck.
But also goes to show just how unhealthy his obsession with taking down Jimmy is.
