Hello everybody!!! first off, thanks for 10 likes on my last song (that sounds depressing as frick lmao), even though that's a TINY number, it's still my most liked video now, although definitely not my favorite (please go and like Dark Castle Theme qwq)!
Anyway, in this song I feel like I'm FINALLY figuring out how to write real-sounding piano pieces, and a huge reason for that is because I got a new plugin called Pianoteq 6!!! for those uninformed, Pianoteq is a Physically modeled piano synth that does its job so well that it is constantly compared to SAMPLED piano libraries, which I think is absolutely insane! The presets all sound SO authentic and clean, and there are so many options and parameters to mess around with to really reel in that "authentic" sound. for example, I changed the tuning style for this piece from the basic equal temperament to Pythagore, although you probably can't tell. Anyway yeah, super glad I have a good piano plugin now, and I'm also super excited because I'll be getting an actual MIDI keyboard soon!!! I found an amazingly cheap one off of eBay that has semi-weighted keys, MIDI sliders, foot switch(pedal) support, and a drum pad!!! it's only 50 dollars ($119 if u include shipping T^T) which is honestly such a steal for something like that (DEFINITELY not complaining though lmao).
