Ruapuna was the first track I ever flagged at and how has it grown. I also have a R1100S and took it around Mallala Motorsport Park here in Adelaide. That looks like a mad track day, so many different skill levels and bikes.
Man this was a nice video. It really shows how good of a bike this is when someone rides it that has alot of experience. Man you were just embarrassing some of those sport bike riders passing on outside of a turn with a boxer that can't lean as much. You could see how aggressive you were on throttle sometimes too coming out the turns and braking into corners. Bet they were all impressed how well this boxer did when you guys got off the track.
I have a r 1100 gs '96 properly tuned for acceleration. It cracks up like crazy this thing. Top speed 200km/h hardly. If I was only there... I'd still laugh even with the 1100 s!!! 😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅
I have owned my R1100s for more than 20 years now. This rider made me feel like I was on the track. I salute you. A fantastic ride.😊
Perthaps, THE most underrated, quite affordable "all-around motorbike" available today.
I hope it stays that way until I‘ll buy one next year. Prices are quiet low for this nice machines😅

What tires you running on the track?
These were some 6 year old pilot sports - the were hard like nylon, now I am running Bridgestone S22s, they are the business.
