Dumb question, but I’m curious cause I’ll be moving to nyc and doing gig work there. How do you prevent the bike from being stolen ? Do you lock it up each time you have to park it ?
What you said about the distance it can be kinda true depending on if it's like a straight line with good infrastructure but you still gotta keep an eye on distance because if you don't the battery will die super fast and will have to waste time going back to the shop to swap batteries out more constantly.
I see your point but I’m still sticking with time to complete. I ride from bk to Manhattan and work 3 hours before my battery start dying. I go by time
@@adrianmcpherson2618, agree. In Seattle where hills matter more than traffic (for bikes), time matters for battery--since you basically get an estimate of how hilly it is in the time--more than pure miles too. I only get like 2-2.5 hours for a full battery and I'm on a more efficient mid-drive (with a throttle though I pedal also) too. You're lucky to be on flats.
Really like watching the riding videos. Idk why but i love seeing people ride in other cities and such. Just got myself a good mountain bike, gonna try and convert it some day. You got any advice on certain parts and builds? I figure you ride an Ebike consistently so you of all people should know very good and safe parts for an ebike. Thanks in advanced! Subbed for more. :)
Ahh thats a good way to do it! Haha, well theres a ton of videos on youtube for it. I better get learning :D Cant wait for your next video. Love watching those rides. Be safe out there! :)@@adrianmcpherson2618
Cool video! I’m about to do this in NYC as a side hustle on the weekends. I already have a regular hybrid non electric bike and am in great shape. But i was also thinking of getting either an e-scooter or an ebike. Of the 3, which do you think is the best? I’m not worried about my old beat up regular bike being stolen, but locking up a new expensive e-scooter or ebike while I run up 20 flights of an office building to deliver food does slightly worry me in the bike theft capital of the world. 😂
hello Adrian. i love your content. i have a question for you. what do you think about the new pay structure for food delivery workers? i understand that uber eats is paying us by the hour now. how is that working out for you, are you earning more or less money?
Put on cheap wool gloves and put kitchen gloves over them. Pretty much every little store sells both of these things and it's a reliable way to keep your hands warm and dry for cheap.
Yooo I was actually thinking about doing deliveries part time, watching this just confirmed that I'm going through with it . Thank you my brother. Question, am I able to do this using an electric scooter?

I do Uber Eats delivery on a bike, and when I ride up if they are outside, 90% of them say you really on a bicycle. If it is nice weather or cold weather. I find it as an insult! Do you get this reply? Instead of saying something positive but yeah people could be so rude.

For a side hustle I recommend sticking with the pedal bike
Nice video bro! How many hours does it typically take you to hit 300 bucks?
Usually 10-12
That’s really good since you don’t have to pay for gas . Takes most of us in cars atleast 12 hours to make 300
Awesome video bro. Made $300 just on instacart 🙏🏾😁
Nice! Instacart sounds valid but I need a car to sign up

where do you charge your batteries bro ? and how much does it cost you
A shop on 2nd Ave called HJT. It’s between 25th and 24th and it’s $50 a month
Have you found any other shops?
Hey bro what would you say the hourly is for multi app drivers?
thats hard to say because i don't speak to a lot of delivery drivers but from what I've seen its usually $25/hr
