If it lands on every number an equal number of times, then it’s 70. But you’re not taking into account that when you roll, it’s not guaranteed to land on said number. It’s equally likely to land on the other numbers.

The first question is a trick. You cannot work out a probable outcome like this. Every throw is random - it could land on 3 every time. Unliklely but true.
If a dice was rolled 420 times it doesn’t necessarily mean it will land on 3 an equal amount of times 🫣

as an a level maths student the first question is vague. you have to state that you are using the assumption that the the dice is a "fair" dice which means that the probability of it rolling to any side is1/6

As an A level further maths and maths student the question is unanswerable, on average it lands on 3 1/6 of the time if fair. However it is a random event and will land on 3 a number of times determined by a binomial distribution of N = 420 and p = 1/6, and so it is not certain how many times it will land on 3.

Maybe, but you still have to make sure that kids from the poorest backgrounds have the same access to those opportunities. Look at the history of King Ed VI in King's Heath. The school was always under pressure to take children from wealthier parts of the city, and they refused. That made a huge difference to kids in the 1960s and 70s. The problem is that, since then, wealthier people moved to get into the catchment area for the school. It's not the school's fault that happens.

If you roll a 6-sided dice 420 times, on average the answer would be 70, but only on average.The answer is anything from once all the way up to 420, however the chance of it landing every time on 3 for 420 rolls is extremely unlikely to say the least, and equal to that,the chance of only rolling a 3 once would also be very remote.Dumb question to be honest.

Guy can't even ask a question correctly or consistently. 😂. You asked the apple question in two different ways. If you ask how many apples do you have LEFT then the answer is 2! Shouldn't be saying the word left at the end if you want the answer 4.
The dice question cannot be answered either. The results are random and can never be guaranteed or considered factual.
