    Possible DNFs...definite enjoyment!
In case I missed it, Maria Edgeworth's title is The Absentee.

Ha. I knock on hardcovers sometimes, too, Catherine. 😂♥️

I enjoyed The Absentee; there are a lot of references to Irish folklore, including Grace Nugent. I also found Edgeworth's book Belinda very interesting, particularly about women and illness. I'm looking forward to Jane Austen's Wardrobe by Hilary Davidson as my nonfiction choice--I just picked it up from my library and it is gorgeous. I would love a "Catherine" video, even though I'm a Kathleen (and often called Catherine)!

Hi Catherine, I have been planning to read sense and sensibility this year so I’m very happy that it’s the group read. It’s the only book I’ve never reread. Have a wonderful Jane Austen, July. Aloha.

I am reading Emma for the first time and Sanditon.

Lol. I completely relate with forgetting where you picked up a book.

I appreciate how specific you have been on your book descriptions -- giving clarity to the content! Are you familiar with the novel Hamerston Hall by Jane Eastbourne? It's rather Jane Austenique.

I plan to reread Sense and Sensibility and I'd also like to start The Year in Between. So far, the only Maria Edgeworth I've read is Belinda, and I thought it was rather good. Not as good as JA, but I think going into her contemporaries' novels w lower expectations than reading a JA helps.

I'll be re-reading Sense and Sensibility and I think I'm going to try using my annotated edition. I dunno...if it slows me down too much, I might have to ditch that idea. 😬 I'll more than likely re-read The Watsons or Lady Susan and I'm not sure what non-fiction I'll choose. 🤔I think i'm going to watch the BBC (2008?) version of S & S because I recently watched the Emma Thompson movie. 🤷🏼‍♀ I shall look forward to seeing some posts from Miss Jane Pawsten on IG, if she is feeling _equal to it._ 🤭

I read both Castle Rackrent and The Absentee last JA July. I didn't like Castle Rackrent but I enjoyed The Absentee a lot 😊

This is a wonderful TBR Catherine! I love the idea of a "Catherine" video, and hope you're able to put it together. I enjoy Miss Jane Pawsten's instagram posts, and hope she cooperates with her photoshoots. Slightly off the topic of this video, do you belong to JASNA or frequent any JASNA events in the city?
