Hey, Mighty. I saw that if you max your power and try to have the less contact attributes possible, you will hit more 500 ft home runs, because you're basically pure power. So you might want to try that out. Also you can do another video trying to hit the longest home run ever, and take all the way down the contact of the players you use, and see if it actually works. That triple play was so satisfying. Did exactly what you were trying to do to make it happen.
The Polo Grounds is a great place to play baseball. The odd dimensions are fun. Anything hit to left center or right center is mostly an inside the park home run.
Back in 12U baseball our team had a triple play. There was a runner on first and second and no one out. And the batter hits a line drive to 1st he jumps and catches it 1 out then lands on the bag 2 outs and quickly flings it me at shortstop to 2nd for the triple play. Which to this day is still incredible.

When they first started playing baseball at the Polo Grounds, there were literally no outfield fences! You can find a photo online-- where the people stood who walked in off the street-- that was the outfield fence! I'm not making this up!
Nah that’s not why it’s because it originally was a polo field which is why it’s called the polo grounds
The Giants played at the Polo Grounds until 1957. The Yankees played there from about 1917 till 1921 when they moved into Yankee Stadium. The New York Football Giants played there till the mid 1950’s and moved into Yankee Stadium.
The Mets also played there in 1962 and 1963 while waiting for Shea Stadium to be completed.
The Polo Grounds were originally a literal polo pitch. That's why the shape is so odd. As for the railings... It was built in 1890. As Simon Whistler likes to say, "The past was the worst."
The reason it was so wierdly shaped is due to the fact that it was originally built for football.

It’s literally in the name of the field. “Polo” grounds, it was designed to watch Polo which is played on horseback. So people would be tall enough to be over the guys on a horse. And if you look where the bullpin is there would have been a fence on both sides like a horse dug out and the ends have the goal cut outs like you see in centerfield.

Only triple play I’ve ever got was in DD. He popped a bunt to the pitcher on a double steal. Caught threw to second and tagged runner who didn’t go back to first.

i wish the game hyped up more plays like the triple play or multi homerun games or made a big deal about being the homerun leader… it just feels like you don’t even know you win MVP or make an accomplishment until the next season 😂

The only triple play I have ever turned the other team had two guys on and he flies out to deep CF and he tries to tag from first I throw an absolute lazer and the guy that was on second tried to go home and I gunned him down there.

Polo Grounds was originally built for polo… great triple play by the way! MLB The Show dropped the ball in so many aspects!! It’s 2024! Why don’t we have a celebration cutscene for that triple play? There’s no acknowledgement of the HR record which means there’s no acknowledgment for ANY all time record! They don’t need to do a lot to do that either… NBA 2k has cutscenes in “MyPlayer” for breaking all the different records? Just wasted so many opportunities to make the game “that” much better!
Polo Grounds wasn’t meant to be for baseball and actually for football so that’s why it is so weird.
