A. A new pirate looking for more than just adventure and treasure
B. The chaotic nature of the rest if the group and the somewhat peaceful nature of Dooo.

Just to answer your question, yes they all have a background in music! Dooo is obvious. Soup has his own band, Slackjaw, and McNasty also has a band called Enda Vinera. Blarg while not currently in a band used to be involved in a metal band I think around when he was in high school/just before he started CZcams. He did vocals and I think bass? I know he can play either guitar or bass or both as well.
Mcnasty also does solo music, in his band he's more deathcore but solo he seems to lean more into dubstep.
I believe blarg has a history with drums right? I might be mistaken

Pretty sure they all have a background in music. Not 100% sure about Blarg. But yeah. That's why they are so talented with their instruments and are pretty good at syncing their recordings with the beat/metronome so it makes it easier for thedooo to edit it and drop it in.

Soup has a band called slackjaw, where he is the lead singer/bassist.
Mcnasty also has a band called enda vinera, where he is the guitarist.
Blarg used to be in a band a long time ago (I don't know the name, but he was the lead singer).
And then dooo is, well, dooo.

Yeah the dooo did move, i think it was something to do with the house being at the bottome of a hill and breaking down, and there was like sewege in tbe basement. They talked about it on the goons podcast which was awesome. I fhink he lives alone now or with his mom still, i dont know for sure
