Cooked supermarket prawns are good for flounders too .

enjoy your company Vern, cant help thinking you should try the shrimp head end first..... lure and bait fishing fishing predators seem to attack from behind more often than not in my experience as limited as it is.

Pink footed geese migrate to us to overwinter from Iceland and Greenland. They migrate back to breed in the summer.

Here in Dumfries and Galloway we get Barnacle geese, about 20,000, that come down from Svalbard.

I have a bad ankle torn a ligerment, and i couldn't bend my foot to that angle on the slopes, so i thank vern for looking after me, and he is such a help with his knowledge of the Humber

Vern you legend! Feel like I got a mention on my favorite fishing channel re murmuration . Regarding your previous vid excellent, nice flounders and you were in good company with Keith! Always nice to have company although doesn’t bother me to be on my own either when fishing. Brent geese Vern, or Canada geese I reckon. They migrate from North America/ Greenland for warmer climes during our winter which is a lot milder than theirs! Make a right mess on the golf courses 😮. Anyhow not sure how your latest episode will play out but I hope you caught a whopper. Watched the first 25 minutes or so but I’m off to bed . Catch up tomorrow fingers crossed 🎣🎣🎣🎣

Go on google maps at Barton upon humber and look for far ings lane runs parallel to river. Go to the end and there’s a bumpy track to carpark. Walk from carpark to the right along footpath to the bend and you can fish longer.

lost myself many years ago Vern.... i have just moved back to lowestoft after 28 years and have immersed myself in vids while slowly building up the tackle to have a go. It seems to me that 90% of both freshwater and salt water bites on live, dead or lure baits are attacked from the rear. So if you put your shrimp/prawn on hook through the head the fed through and out of the ass the hook is always facing the right way and only needs a gulp to bee hooked. self hooking..... sorry Vern i;m very boring but its a thought. tight lines
