Seen October 2020. I married a Pan Am fight attendant. She worked for them 1954-1985. Loved every minute. I was married 53 years. Miss her dearly. Thank you
I was a Pan Am veteran for almost 31 years. Traveled the entire world with this great airline and never dissatisfied. If Juan Trippe still was alive, this great airline company would still exist regardless of the world economy! He was an extraordinary businessman and a great leader of Pan Am!

I was with EA at JFK. I always thought both airlines would have survived as one with good management. It would have been a much better merger than with National.
There was NOTHING wrong with National...the Teamsters and PanAm were running cocaine (and USING IT) for the CIA...AND FUNDING AND RUNNING IRAN CONTRA...PA 103 WAS IRAN CONTRA....
I sued PAA for not stopping sexual harassment in the NOLA office..the case was shut down BY THE F..ING CIA!.....
NOTHING COULD HAVE SAVE PAA ONCE THE SPOOKS WERE RAPING HER

I blame Delta, who wanted their routes and their gates. Same thing with NW, just the other ocean.
Thank God for CZcams. I looked up this commercial and it’s such a joy to hear it again. As a kid growing up, I always loved this commercial. Pan Am just fired up my imagination, pouring over its schedules and route map. Too young to fly on my own then but I collected all their schedules.

Thanks for your comment. I only flew Pan Am twice (LAX-IAH & OSA-SEL) but they were a great airline. I also collected their schedules and memorabilia.
I worked for Pan Am in 1987 until they closed down in December 4 1991 it was a great airline to work for it was the best years of my career

Worked at PAB for 20 years...and loved boarding the Clippers and hearing the soft music playing...You Cant Beat the Experience....no regrets whatsoever....wonderful memories
The commercial from my childhood! My father was in the military and we flew internationally on Pan Am. Although Pan Am no longer exists, as an adult, I am still inspired to travel all over the world because of my experience flying around the world 🌎 with my father and flying Pan Am!

So nice Howard! Thank you very much!! When i was a child I observed all those beautiful classic Airliners. A lot of 727 Panamflights a day went out from Hamburg to Berlin. Its so sad that this Time is gone But its great that you remember the People at this great free Time!!!

This is fantastic! Juan Trippe really set the standard of aviation travel. It's a shame how it all ended though and thank God he wasn't around to see his discovery literally go up in flames!

Pan Am set the standard for the rest..their First Class was such a treat! ah how I wish we could turn back the clock!
If not so much as turning back the clock but instead today holding current Airlines accountable. They make billions in revenue, but give the bare minimum in service.

we were a wonderful airline, when being abroad and we saw the "blue Meatball" we felt we were home already. There will never be another like Pan Am.

I smile and cry at the same time when I see anything Pan Am. The only bad memory I have is the smell of the rock cornish game hens on Flight 001 NY to London.

Oh this is going to be a rant. There is a law right now in the House of Representatives to forbid airlines from charging $ to use the toilet. I kid you not my friends. This is the wonderful world of air travel these days. Used to fly Pan Am couple of times a year back in the days, it was wonderful, just wonderful. Sometimes these days when I get on a sardine can to go somewhere I close my eyes and sing these jingles. Howard thanks for posting this, I'm multilingual yet I can not recognize the language after the first 2 English jingles, after that we have Spanish, French and Portuguese. One more time thanks and as we say " gone but not forgotten.. " Is an old saying from an old Pan Am employee. If you can post the language of that third jingle I would appreciate it thanks a million.
