- Ethereal Workshop is an island in My Singing Monsters that houses multiple monsters never seen before, from the Ethereal class. It appears to be located inside the head of the Ethereal Colossal and uses new mechanics that require the use of the Mirror Islands and strange creatures called Meebs. The Island was added in Update 4.1.0, on Wednesday, October 11th.

I’m pretty sure this is the shadow quad because if you take a look at it’s elements, it doesn’t match up with it’s natural equivalent. And tbh it doesn’t really look the part for a plasma quad.
flasque doesnt sound really good alone but with others, he makes the song absolutely godly, especially at this part 0:27

Was not expecting how these new monsters would sound, but I do like them all a lot! It is nice to see the island be extended with these additions, and while there is still a long way to go, I can already start to see the direction this island will take!

I love how they added another track for Gaddzooks and how Nitebear is based on FNAF. Whaill looks absolutely great as well. The MSM developers really are putting their love into the game.

Gaddzooks: three eyes, three toes, three mouths
Yooreek: three fingers
Blarret: three mouths, three nails
Auglur: three hands
Nitebear: three eyes, three toes, three fingers (brown hand), three body sections (brown half, blue half, greenish head)
Flasque: three sections of the head, three toes, three floating flasks
Whaill: four toes
Yooreek has 3 pairs of limbs.
Nitebear is made of 3 distinct ideas: the blue part, brown part, and the horrifying head.

About the new Verse, always love new verses! Currently this new verse is pretty empty, but we're just with 8 monsters out of 15 (or possibly 16), so... Yeah.
Gaddzooks new track? Sounds really really good! I love it!
Flasque really gives this "this shouldn't exist" feeling when looking closely at it and how it's green portions work, also, always need more and more percussion!
Nitebear being a full FNaF reference is alredy amazing, it's sound is good but "yeah...", it kinda reminds me of Garfield for some reason(?), anyways, love it!
The Plasma Quad (Whaill) is one of the best monsters on the Island for sure! The first vocalist and it's a full on choral, just amazing!
4.1.2 was an amazing Update to the base My Singing Monsters in general, i really really love it! Now, we still have to get the new Fire Rare/Epic Monster *and* the new Prismatic on DoF for December!
Nitebear has actually grown on me sound wise in the song, idk if it’s because I got used to it or the fact that it actually goes really well in the track where it sings. I’ve always liked Nitebear’s design tho ever since I saw it and I can say I’m a fan of the lil guy.
I think Nitebear adds a nice melancholy and “cool down” of the music since he plays near the end of the track.
Plus he fits along with the vibe of the synth instrument and kinda slows it down in a good way.
Auglurs sound is absolutely beautiful

I’m glad we got a metal clanging sound. It fits the workshop vibe. My only complaint is the Whaill verse. It sounds cool but it doesn’t flow too well into the next verse.

That verse is definitely getting more. Theres a good, almost 3 second point where meebkin is the ONLY sound you hear.
As much as some songs might have empty parts, they definitely try not to leave too many VERY empty parts

I love how they made Whaill look like and sound the exact opposite to Whisp. It especially hints at this in it's bio.
Where whisp is small, somewhat see-through and more reserved, whaill is huge, imposing and.. well.. literally and figuratively screaming "here I am!! Look at me!!"

Related to someone's fun fact, nitebear's FNAF references are :
"Hello, hello?" (phone guy)
"it's secretly powered by quirky animatronics" (what would it mean? that its a pink pineapple smelling big fat dog?? also is based off a Phone Guy line, where he says, "the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night")
"To avoid going purple in the face" (purple guy)
"Behind the laughter" (behind the slaughter)
"So that its servos don't lock up" (is a reference to Phone Guy's speech in the first game, where he states that the animatronics' servos lock up if turned off for too long)

The bio also mentions Nitebear “killing the mood”, which may be a blunt reference to the fact that Purple Guy is infamous for killing children.

The bio mentions a "Leading theory" which is most likely a reference to Game Theory, a CZcams channel known for its FNAF theories that was important enough to be referenced in the FNAF movie.
Nitebear’s name rhymes with nightmare, which is the group name and name of one the animatronics that appear in Five Nights at Freddy's 4. It specifically seems to be a shortening of the name "Nightmare Fredbear" which is another FNAF 4 animatronic.
