Best of The Mobo Awards 2024

LOVE Island star Indiyah Polack, athlete Jessica Ennis-Hill and pop stars the Sugababes led the glamour at the star-studded MOBO Awards tonight.
The women shared the red carpet with a host of nominees at the bash which celebrates music of black origin.
Many fans were looking forward to Maya Jama and Stormzy's first red carpet appearance together since their 'recoupling' - but the pair were a no-show. They both received nominations for awards, but Maya's Love Island commitments in South Africa have kept her from the prestigious awards.
Last night’s bash also saw Central Cee named Best Male Act and Raye win Best Female Act.
Other wins came for Stormzy, who won Video of the Year for Mel Made Me Do It, and Soul II Soul, who took home the Lifetime Achievement Award. An access-all-areas special from the ceremony will air on BBC One at 11.30pm tomorrow night.
