I've been a client of Poole's since 2003. I've never seen this much of the process before because I'm not in London often. It is really great that you're showing what happens in the shop. To date, this series is your best content. And Simon, et al, are wonderful to work with.

you really must do more series like this. I knew the work involved in making a bespoke suit was so intense and so skilled, but you can just *see* the sheer concentration on the striker's face as he struck the cloth and cut it.

Kirby, this is some of your best work.
This episode was as good as that ASMR video with Dominic Casey. It conveyed the intricacies of a bespoke suit and the often undervalued skills required to create such a garment beautifully.
Congratulations to you and your team. I think I speak for all of your subscribers when I say that I can’t wait for the rest of the episodes.

Having done clothes making myself, and I think you mentioned doing it yourself in the past as well Kirby, you must surely agree with me that while drafting and cutting the fabric looks very relaxing on camera, in reality it's very stressful because every line you cut is permenant and you fear you have cut the wrong line xD. Atleast in sewing you can always unstitch a mistake.

Great series, this will be an eye opener for outsiders, newcomers to bespoke world. Even the regulars can look it from different perspectives, taking a look at the work of other tailors, rather than strictly being orthodox and stick with the usual bespoke tailor for decades, when there are equal or even better talents and houses around, that they may not have heard about or paid to much attention.

The fabric is beautiful. I noticed the plaid matched great at the shoulders but wondered about the sleeve not matching at some point in the front. Interesting feedback on this. It's also interesting to see how even the best bespoke tailors in the world allow for 1-2 fittings. My sewing is not good enough to be able to mark the changes required, then pull the garment apart and make the changes. The suit will look fabulous on Kirby.

I'm not much of a gentleman myself, but having a long standing love of classic firearms I have always said that when I finish my current financial obligations, I want to commission a firearm from the greats like Purdey, Rigby, or Westley Richards.
