is it same thing if i draw beam with out insertion points but i will connect it with the column with a "link" ?
thanks ,
your follower from Egypt
what about using the rigid links?
I am facing problems with column cardinal points while drawing columns. When I select Top Left while drawing, it goes to Bottom right. Sometimes Bottom Right, it goes Top Right. And it alwas vary column to column. Never same for every column. I request you to make a video on column cardinal points without using insertion point.

Hi , when it is permitted to active " Do not transform frame stiffiness for offsets" ??
If u do not want to transform the stiffness then there is no point of modelling the eccentricities
@@ilustraca because in reality for example main rafters come over or below secondary purlins in roof steel structure . so in modelling rafter above or below there is a need to transform the stiffness ?
@@anastaha2438 are gonna connect purlins with rafter with a moment connection??? if not that how will that transform the stiffness. You need to know how and when and why
