I’m from the USA and I’m sitting here wondering “Why is that auctioneer talking like a normal person?”
And then Google taught me that the auctioneer chant is exclusive to North America... if you haven’t heard it, look it up!

@@sjefhendrickx2257 Auctioneers don't just talk fast-they chant in a rhythmic monotone so as to lull onlookers into a conditioned pattern of call and response, as if they were playing a game of "Simon says." The speed is also intended to give the buyers a sense of urgency: Bid now or lose out. And it doesn't hurt the bottom line, either

Drew's just a businessman. If he was truly awful, he wouldn't be invited to the stately homes, schools, churches, and castles where others aren't invited.
Great show but Drew as a presenter doesn't work.
