    I think Faisal's nostalgic voice (and Strings vibe) was perfect for this song. YS's lyrics and delivery were great as always...these may be the only rappers I genuinely enjoy listening to. It said "phir milenge" on the wall at the end :(
    I'm sad its come to an end but glad it happened. It was exactly what so many us needed after 2 bloody years of covid. CS has always given us great music but, as a whole, this was the most brilliant season to date imo. I'm tired of hearing people say this season was for the younger lot. Sure, its more relevant for them but its not "only" for them. I'm in my late 30s and I hadn't felt this much excitement for a music show in a long time. My dad, who is 80-something, also loved it...he asked me every week if a new song was out. Its gonna be hard for me to pick my Top 5, other than a couple of songs of course. Ok I'm rambling now. See you at the BTS reaction!

      @WritingRahul  Před 2 lety +7

      I have grown up listening to songs by Strings! I have not heard any other songs by Young Stunners but I really enjoyed the two songs Coke Studio served. Will check out their other songs.
      It is sad that the season came to an end but am glad the focus was on quality as opposed to quantity. Most music companies and film makers here function otherwise.
      And hey! I am in my late 30's as well. Same pinch!
      Waiting for them to drop the BTS :)

His vocals are amazing he killed the whole song so did Talha...They gave the last song of the season to Faisal which is really a great decision by coke Studio. Love the lyrics of this song, plus the way you pointed out that everything is shutting down made complete sense, hearing faisal took me back to the 90's when I first heard Strings, the way all my classmates used to gather around and sing "sure kiye yeh pahad" and how we wanted Strings to make more songs and then they did, I agree with Kib, its nostalgic. The YS duo did an amazing job, the way all the boxes were packed was a great touch. But the line in the mid of the song sung by Faisal made me cry, mere liye mein ne saza rakhi hai... ufff

    The entire season of Coke Studio was just mind blowing. Its the best song to be selected to end their season ... I grew up listening to Faisal and its great to see his come back to Coke Studio as an artist. In case you didn't know, Strings had a song in Spider-Man Soundtrack back in 2003. czcams.com/video/rucMwBt66fM/video.html

      The rap in this season was more than what I would have liked but from what I understand is it was done to gain younger audience. What are your thoughts? Why do you think they had so many rap songs?
