This car is WILD!! I used to own and street race (in Mexico) back in the early 2000s with a 95 Probe GT and this brings back memories! Also with the teal hat and chain, dude full 90's. Respect!!!!

As someone that is currently restoring / building a Ford Probe GT, this is such a cool use of the 2.5L KLDE V6.
Get yourself some KLZE/31 heads and cams and a greddy sp2 exhaust if they still make them🤙

I'm just happy to see him behind the wheel of one with a manual hooked to it. His Probe video was a letdown with the slushbox. Chase (owner of the Probe he tested) is a chill dude though

Yeah they are also the Mazda F2T engine in the 1st gen Probe/MX6 as those can handle and reach 500hp easy as well having forged internals from factory. But I do love that KL motor sound nothing like it.
@@kaw1240 The KLDE crank is forged from the factory, but they definitely need rods and pistons to compete with the good old F2T. I'll agree on the sound as well, mine has seen 8,000 rpms plenty of times in the 7 or 8 years I've owned it!

Owned an MX3 myself. Always thought that huge rear hatch would make for a nice rear engine swap. Still like the look of the car. If it was quick as this I’d still have it today.

I had one of these 30 years ago... Fully loaded GS model with the 1.8L V6, and I had a 2.5L Probe engine ready to put in... Sold it all and bought a motorcycle.

Kudos for building an MX3. Non-RX7, non-Miata Mazdas don't get the recognition they deserve (though at this point there probably isn't much Mazda left. 😂) Amazing build!
I always liked these and the MX6. The MX3 originally came with a 1.6L 4 cylinder or a 1.8L V6. Smallest V6 ever. Sounded cool but wasn't very fast

This is the greatest video I've ever seen on CZcams. Just seeing pure joy in Ty's face makes all that hard work he did worth it. I remember letting someone drive my sti after all the mods I did. It made 350 to the wheels, nothing crazy but man you don't realize how fast it is until your in the passenger seat haha.

Anyone else notice when they got into it THE ROOF was peeling away in 3 places 😂
I removed the sunroof on my 07 g35s 6mt sedan. Replaced with an aluminum sheet. My recommendation ( bc mine is a fully built time attack car) is to drill a rivet every 3 inches along with a silicone sealant for weather , wind and waterproofing. Had mine over a year now with 160 mph pulls no moving, buckling or leaks. This gentleman should address that but he’s very ambitious on other aspects of the car which I equally respect.

I remember watching this MX3 on Hoonigan chanell like 3 years ago and I could not help but feel like that everyone in that video was sort of mocking the car? I think there is a huge difference when a car that you have built is driven by someone who is a car enthusiast and seriously passionate petrolhead, someone who hops into a 60 hp car and still has fun.
This is an insane built, like I bet there is a lot of people who woluld not even think about doing something like this, let alone actually do it.
What I was wondering about those 4 years ago was why Ty did not went for an AWD system instead of two engines, two transmissions and today I think I kind of get it.

I dont know if its just the childhood nostalgia because my dad had two old mazda mx-6s when i was growing up but ive always had a serious love for these old mazdas, they were absolute tanks too and just ran and ran until they didnt, and they probably couldve kept running with some TLC but my dad was ready for an upgrade by the time one was sold and one broke down
I knew this looked familiar from the thumbnail - then I saw the Onterrible plate and realized I’ve seen this car in person many times! Good stuff
You cant find these damn cars anymore, my mom had one when I was younger she loved it. Had a tiny v6 and made around 155hp i think. Moved pretty well for a small car. I was wrong it was 130hp, but thats still not bad.
So glad we could see this thing even farther along than when we saw it on hoonigan's burnyard video. So much respect for this dude putting such a unique monster together.

@@Suicid3mx3 it's a great turbo. Mine's an eBay EMUSA HX35 billet wheel, on its third year between 25-35 PSI lol. All the launch control, all the flat shift, all the fireballs lol thing don't care.
