Sorry to hear about what you're experiencing. Prior to me buying luxury footwear, I used to have Ninewest and Aldo and quite frequently, their materials are hard, I use petroleum jelly around the side areas of my foot, which includes the side toe, and back of the foot (Achilles tendons) so the friction is less. Try a thin layer of petroleum jelly just like you’re applying lotion :)
