Tony Blair is extremely unpopular in the UK. He got us involved in the Iraq War which was a disaster for everyone. And his reforms of the legal system and civil service have been very bad for our democratic institutions.
His conversion turned out to be an embarrassment.

I was converted to be a Catholic because l studied in Catholic School, when I was teenager. I used to debate with my parents "if you are muslim you should pray 5 times a day". When I entered seminary against their will.....l noticed later on that they learned catechism for 2 years eventually was babtised as catholic too. They are happy attending my ordination and l am happy too to give my first blessing and communion as priest.

To be precise the Orthodox Church can trace all the way back to St. Peter as well. They split after the great schism but recognize each other still , but Orthodox see Pope as being the bishop of Rome & not the head of the entire church. As for the Protestants they too are Christians. Who is more correct only God knows. Truthfully God is too great, too immense, too wonderful for us mere humans to understand fully. All Christians are right in some things & all may be wrong in others, we all only understand some aspect not all the truth about Jesus Christ. We are not capable of understand everything. That’s why I try to respect all Christians nay all mankind . Jesus taught “ Love your enemies”. It’s hard but I try. Jesus is the first to say “ all men are created equal” , it’s easy to say but hard to practice. Jesus said “ Love other”. All religions , all men stray from these basic tenets at times while seeking personal goals but it is basic to us & brings us back to the right path when we think of Jesus.
