This is why I have traffic turned off... It's bad, would be great to have a world with life in it, but with ai like this, it's impossible.

I dont know if its even possible but we need something like GTA trafic AI, it works great in GTA and it feels alive, in FS its just blocks that dont stop at intersections and hit everything in their path.

This is why I turn traffic off when I’m using the roads or hire an AI to use the roads. Random cars don’t follow any traffic rules and they think they’re the king of the road and they’re built like the strongest tanks ever. A puny car can send my heavy tractor and heavily loaded trailer flying into the air.
Since fs15 traffic has been static, without any collision physics. I liked the traffic like fs2013 and earlier versions where ai traffic had physics too, can push ai off from from road etc.

it'd be nice if there's an option/mod to turn the traffic into "ghost", so there's still traffic but whenever you "hit" them, the vehicles would just went pass through you

Gta 5 ais are far better tha farming sims at least in GTA if there’s a blockage on the road they can work around it but in farming sim it just causes a traffic jam

The traffic is the worst part. They need to make cars able to be pushed. Cause a huge 18 wheeler full of grain can’t move a Honda civic in this game. You just get stuck.
The AI in this game are stupidly funny 😂 I don’t think I have ever NOT laughed at the AI while doing something in this game
What steering wheel and shifter are you using? I’m thinking of getting some set up like this, but not sure what to use? I’m on Xbox.
Same thing happened to me while transporting sheep the bugger ran a stop sign meanwhile I was towing a big semi trailer to transport them happened again recently while experimenting with the emergency pack buster pulled right out in front of me while running lights and sirens + going 50 mph had to slam on breaks almost rear ended them.

I hated the AI in 15 and 17. Id put a worker on equipment and go work on the other side of the map, only to discover my worker has been stuck for who knows how long.
At least there's no Collision Fines, like in Truck Simulator. Then I'd think every one in this game just wanted lawsuits and settlements.
