This is the first video I’ve seen where the track edition actually sounds “straight piped”. I hope when I put my tracking exhaust on my mk6.5 it sounds like this. No one else’s video seems to have the gurgles this does, almost like they all have the touring even though it is the track edition

GLI.STEPHEN MTL i have stock wheels and suspension still. i have a 35th anniversary so the wheels are different from the regular GLI. will be updating the channel with all my new mods coming!
LOL ya my neighbors never liked me except further down the road there is a car guy that has a civic louder and lower than mine. i have the same intake and its great the combo really brings life to the car.

Steven Wason decently loud on acceleration, but quite while cruising. i honestly want it a bit louder/raspier but that’s just my taste. 😅 most ppl will be fine with this set up.
Sounds sick! I just bought a 2019 GTI. DSG so basically same car lol. Been trying to find videos of the new 7 speed having the DSG farts but can't really find any. Do you hear any DSG farts in between shifts or no?
@@hu5kyy280 What I have noticed is that there's a "fart" sound when you lose traction. Even the manual transmission cars do that. However, on up-shifts, there is no "fart" sound on the 7-speed DSG. I'd describe it as more of a "pop" or "bang".
When I had stock software there were some "farts" but once I tuned the car they were gone. The farts just come from slower shifts so once you get a DSG tune they go away completely
I have the mk7 35th and I have the same exhaust with apr cold air intake and the apr plus tuning. I get the dsg fart or the 3 rapid bangs depending on how hard I pull in 2nd but usually it's in 3rd when I hear them.
I just got mine delivered today 👌🏻👌🏻 went from driving an R32 to a GLI 35th edition soooo I needed some sound 👏🏻🤪

Just got the IE Intake v2 installed in mine, mixed with this exhaust it is crazy sounding. Rip ur neighbors lol

Wait was muffler/ resonator on the exhaust chopped off or did you put it on the way it came?
It’s a custom exhaust, 3 inch pipe with no resonator and no mufflers. The secondary cat is what makes it reasonably quiet still.

the exhaust is for the 2.0L turbo. i’m sure there’s an aftermarket exhaust for the 1.4T that sounds relatively the same
