    I have this one , but use 2 x zippy 2s 350 with the JST and balance plug already on it . Just thought I’ll mention it as I had to hunt around for these batteries in the r/c shops around Melbourne’s West .
    Always happy to subscribe to aussie R/C CZcamsrs keep up the good work .

    Just bought the little crawler and the same battery you recommend. It would have been nice to mention in the video that that battery is not compatible with the crawler because it doesn't have the right plug but hey... Serves me right not to double check myself. And no, destroying the balancing plug like you mentioned as a response to another comment is not an acceptable solution. Luckily I happen to have a couple of correct plugs to make an adapter. Next time please try to be upfront with this kind of mistake / information.

    Nice video. I am surprised they don't give you a battery in the RTR. Keep up the cool vids bud!

    Just got this truck after watching many videos, yours included. I got the bigger battery you mentioned, but the connectors are different, do I need some kind of adapter? Thanks.

    Do all the panels just remove with the screws? I want to replace with my own custom styrene panels.

    Great review! As a follow up question to the battery connector question below... you mentioned just swapping on a male JST. I see there is only one connector on this battery??? If you put a JST on it, how do you go about charging the battery?
    I plan on getting one of these as soon as HK gets batts in stock. I want that 450 but just wasn't sure how to charge it if it has only one connector and its a JST.
    Any advice you could give will be greatly appreciated and again, great job on the review. Thanks for your work!
    Regards,
    Jimmy

      +JFlyer1973 I have been just charging it with another jst. No issues at all. I have two of these batteries and run them many of times.

      RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 Hey thanks fr the reply. So then thru the same plug? I am assuming like a JST to Balance plug adapter wire maybe?

    Thanks for the review ! I have one of these on its way and the same battery. Sorry to ask again but can you clarify the installation of the jst plug ? You cut the blue wire? I'm a little confused about this !

    • @RCTanksTrucks247
      @RCTanksTrucks247  Před 8 lety

      +Off-Road Aussie RC no worries mate. You, just cut it down to the base of the battery. It is not needed as it is some weird proprietary connection

    • @PaulOff-RoadDownunder

    how did you get the battery to work when it did not have anything but a balance port on it?

    • @RCTanksTrucks247
      @RCTanksTrucks247  Před 8 lety

      +David Miller just cut the three wires, got rid of the one that I didn't need and just used the red and black wires. Works and charges fine.

    has it also charger for battrie for the car? or i need to buy it?
    and can i buy 370 mAh 20~45 c and 3 s?
    is it worked? or just buy a Devastator Rock Crawler??!!!!!1

    • @RCTanksTrucks247
      @RCTanksTrucks247  Před 7 lety +1

      +Sam Taklimi hey Sam, I prefer the HBX Devastator. Seems more solid and well built. With the hobbyking Basher I have had to replace the plastic gears twice already.
