I wrote a book of around 200 poems when I was a teenager (some 50 years ago now!) when I was feeling lonely and abandoned, and in my early twenties I gave them all to someone who wanted to copy them. Needless to say I never got the book back and said person who I have since found again has no clue where they are now...oh the folly of youth!! I so needed this. Thank you. Yesterday, I was on one of my Facebook groups. And, this person just lost her beloved pet. I know how hard it is to lose a pet, loved one. One of the hardest things for me to get through. I knew, I wasn’t in the right head space to offer anything. So, I just let it go. Thankfully, the other members of the group stepped in.
It’s hard when someone is hurting, and I know that feeling. And, I can’t always help. Sometimes, I think it helps just to listen and anyway, I said a small prayer that they would find some peace and comfort.

When i was a little girl I used to cry and say i wanted to go home. I understand now.
I decided to pull some cards as I was watching this. Just a february reading for myself.
