This video is from Shimon Peres's 80th birthday. President Bill Clinton sings John Lennon's 'Imagine' with 16-year old Israeli phenomena Liel, 40 Israeli children, and 40 Arab children! It's quite an inspirational piece! But I don't think he knows all the words!

There has never been a decade or a generation where we've done this perfectly, but we were much closer to it back in the Sixties than we are now. Even with segregation still going on, we were much closer to it back in the thirties, forties, fifties, and early sixties than we are now.

Usually I don't like it when a vocalist goes off the melody line of a well crafted song with a bunch of self indulgent bocal improvizations, but this version was absolutely beautiful.
You know this conference and song was about peace and equality between the races. This wasn't about religion or anything else. Just enjoy the song and stop making everything about religion...

The song isn't banning religion, countries, possessions, etc. The message is that we fight over those things too much when we should be living in peace.

+Brian Robins I absolutely agree. Ronald Reagan was like a semi-god. Reagan took the presidency in stagflation and pessimism. He ended his presidency with low inflation, low unemployment, big wages, started era of optimism and defeated USSR. We, in eastern Europe are grateful for Reagan and his anti-communist policies. Without him, I would not write this comment, without him I would not travel to US or any other country, without him I would not be going to US high school. Bill Clinton had prosperity because of techno boom but that did not have anything to do with his policies.
