Perhaps everyone should pay a few coins in a fund to help all these athletes who compete for their country. This would in turn help lift the financial burden off their shoulders, which could also help to reduce the enormous mental stress on the competitors. That's not true brother. Govt spends lakhs crores on these potential Olympians as part of "Target Olympic podium scheme-TOPS". I read a recent article, according to which Govt spent almost 6-7 crores on Neeraj alone, which included his training in Germany, Turkey and other European countries.
As Abhinav Bindra said, the government supports these athletes, we need more private corporates to support them also. In the USA their corporates support their Athletes so much.
