Thanks for making this video. I am one of the people that requested it. I then pointed out their latest show is called la vida loca (for reference: they are wearing red costumes). But it is the same style, so I don't think you would enjoy it more. Their best show is La La La. It is an old one. You can check it out. They are my favourite couple, but they things you mention have been shared by many other people as well. Their energy when you watch them live is incomparable to any other couple, but I think people do realise that it is also because of chemistry and all that. Also for me they are the most natural couple, like maybe not the most technique, but it just works out, and it doesn't look like they are just executing a move. Btw they make their shows like this because they have teams all over the world and they learn the same choreo.
I think they are a great couple and absolutely true live shows look completely different 😊 we have so many different styles of dancers and that's the beauty of it , we can enjoy different things but appreciate each others choices 🥰🥰🥰🥰 you be proud of what you like 👍
I'm not sure how to express this. I do like your videos and enjoy your comments, but kinda disagree with the whole 'don't touch' thing you bring up a lot xD. Of course it is very important to respect the people we dance with. Anyone in the dancing community that doesn't understand quickly learns it, as we are all quite exposed to each-others opinions and judgements. Learning to dance is also learning the beauty of respecting each-other's vulnerabilities and boundaries. What I observe is that the dancing connections you enjoy with each person you dance with is unique to that person. It is an important part of the energy negotiation you go through throughout the dances, among many other technical details of course. As I dance with each person through the months things change a lot. At the start of the video somehow I knew you were going to dislike their booty touch xD. For me, when I first saw that in their video I just thought of it as something unique to their connection, which I now think even more, after watching many other videos from them. They just have their own unique connection, that I feel is more treasured in social dancing than in shows like this. My knowledge is still very limited as I've been dancing only 8 mths and have not traveled outside my city to dance. My concepts keep evolving as I learn. I do keep your comments in mind. Maybe later I will understand them differently, but nothing in my experience points to things being quite like you say. Sensuality is a very human thing. (Sorry if I made the comment long 🤣. Love your videos Rasa❤! Thanks for sharing them with us!)
Love your comment, and I agree everybody's connection is different and individual , and we all have different personalities , so for me thats just not my taste 😉
This show did not catch me at all, except for the brief wave/syncopation part at 1:01 to 1:07. One of the issues I have are the "too much" facial expressions directed towards the audience like from Latin team sport.
Hi Rasa, thank you for this video, very interesting to hear a professional's opinion! Could you please make a video giving your subjective opinion about the most famous bachata couples? First it would be interesting to know who you consider the top ones and secondly, their strong and weak points. I look at Ataca y Alemana for example and don't understand why they are so popular, my local teachers dance with more musicality in my opinion and it is more interesting to watch them. But maybe I am missing the point? So interested in your opinion.
May I suggest another - very different - video where I'd be interested to hear your comments? That is Eddie Torres Jr. with Inés. I think there are lot of interesting little things to discover and comment on in there. The link: czcams.com/video/KtwN_Ix9nhI/video.html
There's no authentic seduction / dancing going on just contrived movements which are slick but not believable from an artistic point of view. As usual, there's too much movement & no pauses. You nailed it Rasa, watching these "performances" is becoming tedious.
7:20, this is extremely vulgar and kind of disrespectful to Desiree too. When you attended their class, did they clearly explain what is acceptable and not acceptable when partner dancing? Daniel y Desiree are pretty famous on youtube, and I kind of feel like many people get the wrong idea of bachata when they see their videos.
This is exactly what I said in the video , they explained everything correctly, that's why I respect them , and their tecknique is great , just not my style 😉 but really great at what they do 🤗.
I'm sure that she knew it was coming, they have been dancing together for a long time so the bond is different than if you're with someone random that just asked you to dance.
If more married couples danced like this and had this chemistry the world would be a happier place....their passion really touches me❤
They are a nice couple 😉

So funny Rasa, thank you for your authenticity, honesty and insights!! x
It's the only way I can be 😁
Please, make a video reaction on Gatica & Melvin, they’re quite famous now, so it’s interesting to see your reaction on them 😊
Definitely, added on my list 👌
My opinion is that your commenting and video is better than their coreo😋
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think its funny but I do appreciate it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like how Rasa continously ignores her leg humping and keeps focusing on Desiree's hair. Well done!
😅😅😅🙈🙈🙈

Hahahah who are you to speak ill of them 😂😂😂 never heard about you before 😂😂😂
Just my humble opinion 🤣

Absolutely, they are on my list ☺️☺️

Thats actually a very good topic , I'll make sure to really think through it and answear 😊

I am not a fan of bachata performances. It is a barrio social dance and this seems so far removed.
They after class demonstrations are very good 👍
I second that!
@@tacubocu 👍👍

That's an awesome suggestion. It definitely will be one of the reactions 🥰 thank you 😊

Yeah I think that's a good way to say it not believable from artistic point of view 😉.

But just the style is so over the top , that I find it hard to enjoy

A couple cool moves, but I agree - not much there. And that outfit is on her is horrible.
We all make some questionable choices , I know I made some in the past 😅 it's just one of those moments.
I've never seen you so cynical lol
I know I was thinking the same half way through, but at least it's an honest reaction 😅
