Dimash was 14 years old in 2008. So, I think you mean that this was sung in 2018. Possibly the song is from 2008 and that caused the mix-up. Wang Li sings in a pure straight tone which is beautiful in of itself but she doesn't do vibrato. But then, at 3:47 you hear a soprano voice that is full of vibrato singing with Wang Li during the fireworks. That voice is Dimash. And of course, then you hear it at the end as well. Dimash did a lot of these Chinese national celebratory events many times acting as a cultural ambassador to improve relations between China and Kazakhstan. Although this wasn't the Olympics, it was instead the Mid Autumn Festival Gala of 2018. By the way.... This wasn’t from 2008, China didn’t even know who Dimash was until 2017….
its just the song is from 2008 as Julie says in the other comment
