    Is this different to your recipe in the book? You don't add the caramel sauce in this video?

      It’s not needed. It doesn’t impart flavor at all. It’s meant to be added for natural coloring. You can use a lil dark soy sauce or caramelize a few tablespoons of sugar water if you want the effect.
