I really like the figures that recreate how they looked in the original Lego Star Wars games like Kit Fisto and Luminara. Would love it if someone did more of them, like the Magna guard, the orange PK droid, or Jango Fett with blue and white armor instead of blue and silver.
Agreed! Hopefully more companies pop up because really just Christo and some small creators have made figures from those games

As a kid Lego Star Wars was my favorite game. One thing I've wanted for years is the Lego bantha, but Lego doesn't make them and the customs are hard to come across without paying a pretty penny
Brick Rebellion Has very recently done a pre order for a Jango Fett very similar to what you're after except it's violet and white rather than silver and white

Bigkidbrix is a personal fav of mine! Their quality is amazing and they're constantly improving the printing on their older designs (something that's extremely rare within the custom minifigure market)

What are the best for classic style figures I wanna start a collection of the ones from the original star wars games and clone wars figures in that “old style” really just need some head prints and maybe classic mandos
If you're ok with UV FFL/AV Studios/The Minifig Co, but if you want Pad, Brickguild, Citizen Brick, and lots of small companies that are coming up in the community!

the best is whoever makes all the figures on aliexpress that are as good as 100+ dollar customs and sell for a dollar each
if you hold those figures in your hands, the quality is typically garbage - though I agree sometimes the figure is fantastic and the price just makes it all the more worth it

I believe I have a few figures that other custom makers have put out (and used minifigfx to print) - I think their quality is good but again it's UV so better color options, but a little less clear/usually looks a little more fuzzy

Honestly I think I'd need more of his solo figs on hand to give that a more fair comparison. His collabs are 2/2 s tier so far, but I just feel like he needs more figs produced from the renders before I would go there. Also there's a misspelling on the Enlightened Sorceress case...

I think Baggles and Bek are very good at what they do, but the way they market and do business is detrimental. The one and done hype release method is erring dangerously close to NFT territory resulting in way over inflated value for things that can very easily be mass produced down the road as they grow and expand. This idea of saying “nope, done, never again” after a design is made in ridiculously small numbers rather than being open to revisiting down the road just rubs me the wrong way, and frankly it’s a poor business decision that will affect the target audience.
I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment. There are some in the space not creating the same limits on their figures.
Bek is quite known for doing things just to spite people, and it ends up ruining his image and perception from some of the consumers.

I was just recently thinking how I need to do an updated tier list here for the brands! Jin/Jaka/Abnormal were much more under the radar (when it comes to star wars customs) but now yes I have a few ordered! I'll definitely add them to the updated tier list thank you :)

Madness minifigure are best classic
I love the designs of these custom Minifigures, and I know they aren't exactly cheap to make, but I just can't justify $35+ for a Lego guy. That being said, I'd eat my hat for a Force ghost minifigure
that's why a lot of figures I won't pay resell for - when you know how much they cost to manufacture it really hurts to sell out more than that for a few layers of pad print :)

"they're great quality" goes ahead and puts bigkidbrix at D tier. And bek customs is absurdly expensive for their simple designs, that's why SJ bricks and classic minifigs are the best "classic" custom stores - cuz they're affordable. phoenix customs overall is the best custom maker and has fair prices
they're great quality and design for the price but they're still not at the same overall level as some of the other customizers in my opinion.

Why is christo figure so expensive? Aren't there better figures that are cheaper? Is is jsut because of his popularity?

Brick Guild ranked higher than Ktown? In general, or "Star Wars specific"? Cuz, yeah, SWS I guess I can see, since KTB doesn't really do SW, but if "in general", I'd have to ask what you're smokin'. TMC is WAY better than FFL, but yeah, their customer service is pretty bad, and it takes forever for them to ship pre-orders. Really surprised that you didn't review Bricktactical (Clonetrooperx39 here on CZcams), since he does tons of SW and Halo stuff, including his own line of lightsaber hilts, blasters, etc. Also shocked at the absence of Forest Moon Bricks, since, as you can tell by the name, Star Wars is pretty much their bread and butter, though they also do a lot of other military (historical, modern, and video game). Lastly, Eclipsegrafx dabbles in custom SW stuff, too. Their Arctic Assault Trooper (in stock) and Rebelling Companion (sold out) were notable pieces, IMO.

You're right I was mostly meaning in the context of Star Wars (Hence why KTown was lower - not on quality there at all, and I actually don't own any KTown!) and I will just say I was taking things like customer service into account... 😂. I definitely will add Bricktactical to a future list (kinda forgot they printed - I just have some of their hilts!) and EclipseGrafx/Forest Moon Bricks would also be great adds to a future list! :)
I'm personally fine with BG being ranked higher than Ktown considering the criteria ThrawnBuilds is holding, as well as otherwise...

At some points You really praise a company then put them in d tier, next you say straight say don't buy from this guy he probably won't message you back and then proceed to put them in s tier. I don't get it
I tried to paint a fair picture of most of the creators - Some have the best quality figs but aren't the easiest to communicate or purchase from.
