One of the best CHB players to play the game.

Love Roosy. I remember when he was On The Couch and Tom Morris is peppering him questions about whether he'd take the Melbourne coaching job.
At the end of the questions Roos says to Tom, "next time you ask me questions without notice we'll send your clothes back to the Mens Club". Totally made Tom Morris look like a little kid.

Roosey is a top bloke. Met him at the Dim Sim van at the Queen Vic markets back in 2005 and had a chat about football. Top bloke.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel. Met him down in Hobart in 2015 at the Salamanca markets at a local cafe. Tried to cut the line in front of me. Total flog.

Definitely contradicts some of the things Barry Hall says in his interview.

Probably not the sort of person to wear his heart on his sleeve. Typical of the modern coach with a much more analytical approach to the game..

I disagree with most people. I found the 2005 & 2006 grand finals to be so boring they were practically unwatchable! I went outside and kicked the footy in the street and i only really watched the last 15 minutes!! He has ruined the game with his BORING DEFENSIVE RUBBISH!!!

Agree, the game was so much better before these type of tactics came in. My favourite era was the 90s, unfortunately I doubt we will ever see footy like that again.

Thank fuck this style of game is on the way out. Playing not to lose with the handbrake on and denying players natural flair and skill.

Are you sure it wasn't the attitude you brought to the table which turned him off
