I would love to see a reboot but if Alan is still living with Charlie not sure I could get into the show. For 8 years he lived off his brother. He didn’t pay a dime to help out with mortgage, utilities ect. That got old. And no one could ever replace Bertha 🥲. It would be nice to see Charlie married and with a child.

Oh contrare. This shows that life is long and that bad decisions in the past can be reversed and some healing done. Best sitcom ever. I will watch just about whatever Charlie Sheen does in sitcoms, but his was a golden run.

I so remember that first poker scene, and I sooo love that they actually got the original poker gang back together ... even Angus, who I thought had decided to quit acting and pursue a strictly spiritual path. Glad to see he's making professional exceptions. Also, how surprising and amazing is it to see Lorre and Sheen shake hands again to move on from that horrible chapter.
There's another video posted a day or two ago titled how Chuck Lorre got angus out of retirement if you're interested.

Two and a Half Men tanked after Charlie left. The show really couldn't hold its own without him. Not really what you want out of an entire series with a very gifted cast, but Charlie made the show what it was.

To be fair, they had no choice but to fire Charlie Sheen. Although Charlie was the prime reason why the show was doing great, he was not that great behind the scenes. He was always on drugs and often arrived late, causing a huge financial burden to the company. In the end, he got fired because of his own actions
I missed when it was in prime time but I discovered Two and a Half Men re-runs about a year ago. Great writing, acting and premise. Who wouldn’t want to be young, rich, live in a Malibu beach house and have a witty housekeeper like Bertha?

@@tamdamit actually was. Yes, it could be perverted and crass, but watch the first I’d say 3 seasons. It actually put a lot of thought and heart into the story. However, as Jake got older, they shifted the focus into more toilet humor.
Me too! I saw an old episode of the show one time and was hooked! Laughed harder than I have from a satire in a very long time! I now watch it every evening on reruns. Great lines, great comedic timing, and the actors are just plain funny! Would love to see the 'new' show with the classic poker episode.

Haven't seen Angus since the "Men" finale!
He cleaned up from church influence he gotten in last seasons, which was the reason he quit in s9. Now he openly said church was a mistake and he is ready to be part of filmings again.
That’s because he hadn’t done anything since the finale. He found religion and ultimately retired from acting. He apparently did a complete 180 and has decided that he wants to act again, having come out of retirement this year.
Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen is hysterical. All the characters in it were perfect. I have literally just finished watching the first 8 series of this (Charlie Sheen) again. If something can make me belly laugh over and over again it must be good 🙂

Charlie pulled off the lovable sexist role because he was really making fun of himself and the audience knew it. I’d love to see Chuck Lorre and Charlie and Jon and Angus as well as the other delightful cast work together again. It was magic.

Charlie Sheen is Two and a Half men. When he was ousted/removed many stop watching. Story didn’t make sense without him. If he returns with the original cast, many will definitely return to watch again.

Cryer said in an interview he would never work with Sheen again, but since Charlie is doing great and both he and Lorre were able to make peace, I hope there is a possibility to make a real ninth season of Two and a Half Men.

This sounds awesome…this is a show that truly mirrored what I experienced as life in Malibu. I once met Charlie at Cafe Moustache in Westwood and he was joist a great person to join us at our table. I can only wish the show came back and continued on with him
