Visit to Johnny Horton's grave in Haughton Louisiana at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Includes visit to Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium at 705 Elvis Presley Avenue, which was the home of the Louisiana Hayride television and radio program. Broadcast by KWKH radio. Also, Elvis Presley and James Burton Monuments, Johnny Horton won a Grammy in 1960 for the "Battle of New Orleans". Other hits include " North to Alaska" and "Sink The Bismarck".

You missed one piece of trivia about Johnny. HIs wife who put that lovely comment on his grave marker was Billie Jean Horton who when Johnny was killed in that accident in 1960 became a widow for the second time in 7 years. Her previous husband--Hank Williams
