I got this AI LG and 6 months down the line it's the best investment ever welcome to the club!. my power bill is normal as when we were handwashing. water bill is lower than when we were handwashing. I will surely try the pods for my washing. If I'm ever to upgrade it will still be an LG. Their technology is incomparable. just perfect!

Yes I do mix them if I know the fabric doesn't remove any color. For the fabric that has the dye coming out, I always wash separately.

They can as well be used in hand washing, but you'll have to first let the pods dissolve in water

Sometimes you have to prewash or soak depending on the type of stain

Yes the pods are enough. If the load is big, you can use two to three pods and it's a small load you can just use one
Am in Saudi Arabia... this is what we are using to wash our clothes..it was bought recently... whenever I turn on my boss can see coz of the WiFi...the previous one nilikuwa napiga ukora nayo naosha only 30min wash..but sai siwezi😂😂😂

Initially she had the ramtons twin tub.. 12kg..also waiting for pros and cons though I have the twin tub too,i wish I could have this one but wueehh, il save forever
Hi ladies, yes it was a Ramtons twin tub...I still LOVE that machine, it was super amazing, it cleaned so so well. I had no issues with it. I would still buy it again. I stopped using it cause I wanted a FULLY automatic washer...that's the only reason as to why I sold it to replace it.
Can you mix whites with other colors?it does not stain?
If the color on the fabric doesn't run, I always mix with whites. But if the color runs, I always wash separately.
Edit: If you're asking about the pods having a color that stains, the answer is no, the colors on the pods do not stain clothes.
For a good automatic machine especially front loaders (I use Samsung) should the lights go off the laundry pauses and when lights are back the laundry resumes by it's own you dont have to worry about switching the power on/off
The same thing happens with this LG. I'm the one who switched off the power on the wall when the lights went. If I hadn't switched off, the machine could have resumed on its own quite well when the lights came back.
Yesterday the lights went again while I was washing but the lights came back after 30 minutes, this time I didn't touch the switch and when the lights came back, the machine resumed from where it had stopped.
This is an amazing washer.

Wah so sorry, that's why I pulled down that Samsung Top Load video kitambo after I discovered the disadvantages were many. But as for my old Ramtons Twin Tub , those videos are still there cause that's a machine worth buying.

How much did you buy the LG Front load?
Mercy, I discovered that people experience things differently. There's also a review about that same automatic top loader that's still on CZcams and the owner says it's really amazing. That's also what influenced me to buy. To me it wasn't performing as expected and that's why I let go of it. Kindly search on CZcams (Samsung 7.5kg Fully Automatic Top Load) and you'll find people are still positive about it. At first it wasn't that bad but after months of using it, I decided to pull my review video down since I didn't have a positive experience about it like the others.
I bought this LG at a discount, and the discount was huge, I can't really remember the actual price. Kindly check at Carrefour.
Does the wash program continue after lights came back or you had to start all over again?
The machine is automatic so when the lights come back it picks up where it left so long as you dont turn the switch off and dont open the door either 🙂

I can advise you to visit those people who are already doing that kind of business. They have a better experience with the best or the worst machines that can be used for economic purpose.
Can 8kg machine like this accomodate duvet 5by6
My duvet is 5 by 6 and it fits quite well. But an extremely thicker duvet can be a struggle

Yes, you can use the laundry pods in hand washing, but first you'll let it completely dissolve in water.

Nice LG washer. You will never go wrong with a front loader in terms of water usage and electricity compared to top load or twin turbo. I can attest to that. The only downside is you have to dry and ventilate it every so often after a wash, otherwise mould will grow and make the machine smell funny.
So true Benson, that's the way to keep it smelling fresh.

@@rosemarywacera2576 it's able to do that quite well. I'm impressed by this washer.
Because of the smell - simply wash a washing machine load at AT LEAST 60°C 1-2x a month, for example cleaning rags, tea towels, washcloths, bath towels etc., so nothing starts to stink and the washing machine remains hygienic (and these are things anyway which should be washed hot).
And of course leave the washing machine door and detergent drawer open after washing.
