  • We are a family of four who believe that life is all about experiences. We love to travel abroad & have little adventures nearer to home here in the UK. We are obsessed with collecting air miles, hotel reward points & anything else that helps us save money for our travels.
In this video we arrive in Death Valley from the West. On our way to the hotel. The Inn at Furnace Creek, we stop off at Father Crowley Point, also known as Rainbow Canyon or Star Wars Canyon, the famous overlook looks out over the Panamint Valley. We passed through Stovepipe Wells & stopped at Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes before arriving at Furnace Creek. The following morning we headed south on Badwater Road to Badwater Basin, then back north calling off at Devil's Golf Course & Artist Drive before arriving back in Furnace Creek. We went to the ice cream parlour at The Ranch at The Oasis, then visited the Furnace Creek Visitors Center & its famous thermometer. It was good to get some air conditioning, the Summer in Death Valley is no joke. Later we visited Zabriskie Point, this location was recently used in the filming of Star Wars - The Mandalorian, we also returned after sun down to see the milky way. The next day we set off on our drive to LA. We exited the park through the south passing through Trona & Mojave. We stopped to look at the aeroplane boneyard at the Mojave Air & Space port & took a detour to see the E.T. House in Tujunga, before arriving in our hotel in Burbank.
