Don Black NG few weeks ago? how bro? I can't manage to pull my self away unless I finish a season. I literally watch a season a night. 3 nights in a row then get a new anime. (most anime only go 3 seasons ;-;) then I sit there for the first 3 episodes of the new anime wishing the one before it didn't end
The series has major potential, as the anime only covered about 1/4 of the actual first game. If it was to run all the way until the end of game 3 then the series coulf have easily reached 200+ episode (and this is without filler arcs). And add to the fact that the Code vein games are somehow connected to the god eater games..... Yeah, its sad that the company making this is only focused on Fate/ series as its cash cow

These lyrics make no sense at all... But they sound nice in the background of Lenka chopping up Aragami. You can't even hear the lyrics half the time next to all the yelling, explosions and Aragami noises. Great song, nonsense lyrics and it all pairs well with the high energy ADHD rocket fuel that the God Eater anime is. Its great!

I've literally cried so hard in this anime. So so so good. I was really not expecting that I'll like it, because it's very different. But hell yeah, it brought me to tears.

Example: After fighting the Vajra, a Prithvi Mata (female Vajra) was supposed to jump them after they had finished fighting the Vajra. The location of that fight is different as well, as it's not near a temple, and Alisa was supposed to have her PTSD and Brainwashing kick in at that point. Lindo was supposed to barricade himself with the Prithvi Mata to save the unit. Only then do we learn that Alisa was brainwashed and sent to kill Lindow, Lindow kills the Prithvi Mata only for The Dyaus Pita to make it's first appearance and learn that Alisa has been hunting it down and it's the cause of her PTSD. Alisa's PTSD is supposed to last longer than it was depicted as well. And the plot of someone in the organization to kill Lindow was supposed to be hinted at by having him go solo on increasingly difficult missions . There are other things as well but yeah, they could have done better, still hold the anime in high regard for what it is
For me the anime was pretty messed up, but maybe because i'm so used to the game storyline and protag, but i gotta admit that final battle with dyaus pita when this song played was the most bad-ass anime moment yet!!
