And that's how you know it's a normal joke. We do can't say the joke without doing the voice in the Cadence. He was a one-of-a-kind 100% an original comedy voice. They're going to be lots of imitators. But there is and always will be only one Norm Macdonald

You should definitely watch the compilation of Norm ripping into OJ Simpson during the trial in the 90's on SNL's Weekend Update. He was absolutely relentless. He denied it, but supposedly that's what got him fired. One of the executives at NBC was friends with OJ, and Norm just kept going all in with the brutal jokes. "That's my lucky stabbing hat!"

6:30 great point,norm finds it extremely amusing watching people wait for a punchline, thats why he can barely deliver one without bursting into laughter ,the whole idea of comedy is funny to him he thinks its corny ,he dont think anyone is actually "funny " all these make him a very funny man,the goat in my opinion because unlike most it wasnt a craft ,that was just norm on and off cameras.
When you are extremely funny you become bored of being funny ,your quest of trying not to be anymore funny makes you funnier ,thats norm he really is the goat

Gents. Thank you for the video reaction. I am from Canada, and knew Norm, and his brother, Neil, who is a respected journalist at CBC.
That said - Norm was incredibly smart and gifted.
If you could do a reaction - it is based on one of the things Norm was based. That is SCTV.
It was good humour - based also on Monty Python. Just brilliant stuff!
