Sally Jessy Raphael!!!!! Wow, iconic! Years ago, my mom, Godmother and myself were at a taping of one of her shows...we were in the audience and I remember standing up to ask a question. I wish there was CZcams back then so that I could search for the episode (not that I remember the topic lol).

I love Sally! As a little gay boy in the 90s, I would sneak and watch her show staying home from school or inn summer vacation. when she had queer guests on her show, she was always so kind and treated them with so much respect and love! I always felt like there was a place for gay people in the world because of her. She always made me feel like, when I get older, there’s gonna be people who will accept me for who I am! Thank you Sally! You really were such a big part of my childhood growing up in the 90s! As a gay 34 year old! I thank you!
SJR was the white Madea. I remember the "please help my out-of-control teen" topics where she would get on stage, fold her arms, and stare down the bratty kids back-talking their moms and Sally.
She had chili of TLC The singing group on her show she was looking for her father he came on the show it was Epic!

I loved it when Sally tried to set unruly kids straight. Unruly kids on her show were sent to boot camp and prison for tough as nails disciplinary treatment. Unruly kids need that kind of discipline today.

I sat next to her table at a restaurant in New Hope PA....years ago! We were sooo surprised and she was soo gracious when we said hello...❤
I remember Sally Jessy Raphael as the disciplinarian of talk show hosts who got onto unruly kids who cussed on her show. "You use the F-word one more time....." was my favorite quote from her to the cussing kids. I also loved it when she called Sgt. Julu and Sgt. Peele to help Sally set the kids straight HARD!!! Sally, please do brand new shows of unruly kids who cuss and do ugly things and send more Sgt. Julus to set them straight!!! Those kids LOVE discipline!!! Sgt. Julu was my favorite boot camp disciplinarian to those kids.
I have always loved Sally! I never missed her show and she has shared some really inspirational words while on the air. She's also the only one I know who has been fired more times than me, lol. Sometimes greatness is not always recognized by those who cannot see. If she can do a Podcast at 89, I damn for sure can elevate my Brand at 60. Shout out to the 50+ Club including Sherri, you're fabulous and killin it on the Sherri Show.
