I never knew to put foundation on the back of my hand first and then to use my brush to get the foundation evenly distributed within the bristles. No wonder my foundations haven’t gone on too well. I have used the same foundation with fingers and a brush. Both work equally well. It’s not the best foundation but ok for everyday wear.

A sponge damp, gives me the lightest application.
I admire anyone who uses a sponge. I see some gorgeous makeup applications with sponges and just don’t love it for me. lol.

I like it with a setting spray but I’ll be honest it’s been oppressive here lately and not much is working right now. lol. Ordinarily I have good luck with it and a setting spray!!!

Lately it’s been the NYX Buttermelt Blush in the lightest color.
