For National Day of Prayer 2023, we look at one simple prayer that helped change the future of poverty in South Korea, and the World. In 1951, Reverend Everett Swanson flew to South Korea to minister to troops fighting in the Korean War. During his ministry, he grew troubled by the sight of hundreds of children living on the streets, abandoned by society. Swanson was moved with compassion and he earnestly prayed about what he had seen.
