Special Economic Zones: Investors to be given up to 6 months to set up businesses

Investors who acquire land in any of the 38 Special Economic Zones will have six months to start setting up, failure to which their licenses will be revoked. Investments, Trade and Industry, Cabinet Secretary, Salim Mvurya, is accusing some investors of hoarding land in Special Economic Zones for speculation purposes, locking out other potential investors.
