Hi dear Ceri, great tip about using the brayer. Thanks for that little tip. My tacky glue works quite well gluing paint on paint. I haven’t had any problems with it anyway. Oh the journal cards are beautiful. Love your zine, thank you so much ❤❤ on to the next 😃💙

I find a Cricut cutting mat useful for lining things up to do multiple treatments across individual surfaces. It will hold everything steady. I also use a smaller version of the mat that I picked up at Dollartree for assembling pieces together in a pattern to then transfer to a surface with glue.
Every video I learn something new!

Hi, Ceri!
It`s so funny. I watched Mariah go through all these different items, and now you are working with them. The interview was so great. I enjoyed it immensely.
I love this project and the process, and I know it will end in a happy place :)
On top of all this, you even included one of the most important songs of my life, "The Sound Of Silence".
Sometimes, you even mention Harry Potter, and then my life is complete... LOL 😄😄😄
I have an even larger antique iron than you. I use it as a doorstopper but also for weighing things down :)

I have to ask. When you did the journal cards you used magazine pages to clean your gel plate and brayer. Was that to use them as a background or pieces for collage as opposed to paper or tissue paper?

Yes I often use painty magazine pages for collage work.
