Always wanted to eat there, guess I will be saving my money for my next trip. Oscar’s Steakhouse was build over what used to be a pool area in the 1970’s Union Plaza.
Bobby was my waiter when I was there in July 2022. I ordered an Old Fashioned cocktail and he guessed correctly that I wanted the rib cap steak and he was right on. Great service and excellent steaks!
After reading all of the great comments, I would just like to add one more. I am very impressed that the Plaza Hotel takes the time to comment and invite people to come on down! And yes, Bobby is a truly wonderful character, which is priceless. Every fine restaurant in the world should have a 'Bobby'.

He gets a $50 tip on that bill, you can do pretty good as a waiter in Vegas with the prices of food. I haven't eaten there yet but it's on my shortlist, also a favorite of Matt Bridger.
That was alot of food for the price. That is how the waiters make bigger tips.. add on's... We were taught to do that when I was a waitress in college at a high end steak house. I have been there and agree it is excellent. I think that is the restaurant in the movie "Casino"...
Great video! I absolutely love eating at Oscar's. Truthfully for the price it does seem like a lot but people should understand it's a individual cooking experience for all foods that are coming to the table not a mass amount cooked in one time. Plus, their are more expensive steakhouses in Las Vegas that don't compare to Oscar's. Keep the videos coming.

I love to hear this man recall the old Vegas and talk about all the gangsters he defended. He defends them and explains how the mob-run Vegas was in many ways better and safer. Oscar (and his wife) never owned the Plaza though. The steak house is an amazing place. I have not eaten at Hash a go go since their last roach infestation a few months ago, but I have in the past and never could finish a meal. The portions served are obscene :)
This is exactly the kind of place I want to enjoy my first time in Vegas! I want mature service that treats me like Family and I will treat them as such. I really want a Family dining experience!

So many great steak places in Vegas. It's really subjective.. There are at least 6 that can be considered "The Best" .... and all are great.
Laugh at your own peril, but The Steakhouse at Circus Circus, it's been there for 30 years for a reason.
Tonight I had new York (choice steak) from Walmart....$9.98lb.......unbelievable!!!! w/dice potatoes. NEXT time CHEW it.
